Please read the following Terms of Service completely before using www.commonstitch.com.au, which is operated by Common Living Pty Ltd, trading as Common Stitch. This agreement documents the legally binding terms and conditions attached to the use of the Site.
 

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service. By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms you may not access the Service.

 

Intellectual Property

The Site and all of its original content are the sole property of Common Stitch and are, as such, fully protected by the appropriate copyright and other intellectual property rights laws. Common Stitch products and services are intended for personal use only. This is a small business that relies on the sale of its goods and services to maintain operating, as well as to grow and continue improving its offering.

As the resources created for the products and services took a great deal of time and effort, please do not share these resources, but instead direct those who are interested in using the resources to the online store. In order to share the styles and/or parts of the process on a business platform, or for commercial use, prior approval needs to be granted by Common Stitch as based on agreed terms of usage. 

Sewing Schools

If you are a sewing school and would like to hold workshops using our sewing patterns, please note that all participants are required to have a purchased Common Stitch sewing pattern and that Common Stitch patterns can not be shared between participants or workshops. We do offer group discounts for sewing workshops so please contact us and we can arrange this for you (both for digital and paper sewing patterns).

 

Resource Usage | Patterns & Instructional Materials

All resources have been created by Common Stitch, and are intended for personal use only. These resources include the patterns, instructional booklets (including all wording and illustrations), video lessons, templates, and glossary of terms, as well as any other relevant provided files that are included as part of Common Stitch's products and services. By purchasing or downloading a sewing pattern or shoe making pattern, you are agreeing to print the pattern for individual home use only. You are entitled to make the garments/shoes for yourself or as a gift. Purchasing or downloading a pattern/s does not entitle you to print, copy or distribute the pattern to others, whether you profit from it or not, nor to sell garments that you have made from Common Stitch patterns. These resources are not for reproduction and commercial use*, without approval by Common Stitch. Thank you for respecting the intellectual property and rights of the designer.

Resource Usage | Clothing + Shoe Designs

All available clothing designs and shoe designs are the property of Common Stitch and are for personal use only. These styles are not for commercial use* and reproduction, without approval by Common Stitch.

Resource Usage | Digital Products

Digital products can only have one user per account. Products cannot be transferred into another user's name or to another email. During check out, you will be required to link an email address to the product, that email address will be the user. If you are wanting to gift the product to someone, it is best to purchase a gift voucher instead. 

* Definition of Commercial Use

The use of product and/or resources provided by Common Stitch of any persons for any fare, fee, rate, charge or other consideration, directly or indirectly in connection with any business, or other undertaking, intended for profit. This includes the referral of business when Common Stitch kit processes and styles are included. 

Purchases

The purchase of any product or service made available through the Service, will require the supply of certain information relevant to your Purchase including, without limitation, your name, address, email address and telephone number. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further information.

 

Payment

All payments are due upon receipt. If a payment is not received or payment method is declined, the buyer forfeits the ownership of any item purchases. If no payment is received, no items will be shipped.

 

Links to Other Web Sites

Our Services may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by Common Stitch. Common Stitch has no control over, and assumes no liability for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party web sites or services. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you further acknowledge and agree that Common Stitch shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or allegedly caused by or in connection with use or reliance on any such third-part content, goods or services.

 

Changes

Common Stitch reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. We do so by posting and drawing attention to the updated terms on the Site. Your decision to continue to visit and make use of the Site after such changes have been made constituted your formal acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.

We therefore ask that you check and review this Agreement for such changes on an occasional basis. Should you not agree to any provision of this Agreement or any changes that are made, we ask and advise that you cease to use or continue to access this site.
